We are seeking a results-driven, consultative Technical Sales Representative to develop client relationships and expand our presence in the Athens and Atlanta region. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on building connections, delivering value, and contributing to food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, contact, and convert prospective clients into long-term partners
Introduce AEMTEK’s food safety and laboratory services tailored to client needs
Respond promptly to leads from trade shows, inbound calls, and online inquiries
Track and report sales activities and progress
Maintain strong client relationships and help to provide excellent customer service
Collaborate closely with laboratory and management teams through in-person meetings
Represent AEMTEK at trade shows, conferences, and client visits across the Eastern U.S
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of proven success in sales (technical or scientific sales preferred)
Familiarity with food and beverage manufacturing, food safety needs, and laboratory testing methods
Skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Excellent selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Effective time management, organization, and follow-up practices
Proficiency with MS Office; CRM experience a plus
