Position Summary
Oversees all jobsite activities, maintains productivity, and provides a safe work environment. Coordinates schedules and supervises employees and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Organize, coordinate, and supervise craft workers and subcontractors Determine work priorities and coordinate activities to maintain efficient workflow Enforce contract requirements and jobsite safety; conduct regular safety meetings Coordinate with owners and design teams; serve as on-site liaison Manage materials, deliveries, staging, and storage; maintain tool/equipment inventory and security Write and submit detailed daily reports; communicate progress to the office Hold weekly coordination meetings addressing schedule, manpower, safety, and materials Maintain overall schedule and short‑interval schedules; drive schedule adherence Lead quality control and ensure compliance with plans/specs/codes; coordinate inspections and testing Track labor productivity; manage company and rental equipment for cost and productivity Accurately code and submit time; coordinate closeout and punch list completion Collaborate with Project Manager; mentor and evaluate subordinate staff Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a construction superintendent or similar field leadership role Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising multiple subcontractors and trades Experience mentoring or supervising field personnel Primarily field-based; travel to project sites as needed; work in active indoor/outdoor construction environments.
