UI/UX Designer
who loves turning insight into impact—someone who will
continuously optimize two high-traffic e-commerce experiences
by finding friction, fixing issues, and designing cleaner, faster paths to purchase. In this role you’ll blend
customer-first UX
with a
marketing-minded approach to conversion , using analytics (funnels, heatmaps, behavior) to guide smart design decisions. You’ll design and iterate on
campaign landing pages, evergreen pages, and modular templates
in
Figma , evolving a scalable design system while staying
mobile-first
and
accessibility-forward (ADA) . You’ll also partner closely with developers and marketers to ensure builds are realistic for
Shopify/headless environments , and you’ll occasionally jump in to implement
light UI updates
(Shopify themes, WordPress, Liquid)—using
AI tools
to move faster, test ideas, and elevate the craft. If you’re detail-obsessed, collaborative, and energized by a fast-paced studio where

Shopify is a must. Key Responsibilities
Site Optimization & Auditing: Continuously audit both e-commerce sites to identify UI bugs, usability issues, and opportunities for improvement. Site Optimization & Auditing: Proactively propose UI and UX enhancements that streamline navigation, increase engagement, and extend session duration. Site Optimization & Auditing: Design with ADA compliance and accessibility best practices in mind, ensuring inclusive user experiences across all platforms. Site Optimization & Auditing: Monitor and interpret analytics and behavioral data (e.g., heatmaps, conversion funnels) to inform design optimizations. Design & Development: Design landing pages, evergreen pages, and reusable templates that support product launches and ongoing marketing initiatives. Design & Development: Maintain a mobile-first approach to all design work, ensuring performance and usability across devices. Design & Development: Build wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups in Figma, maintaining consistency through well-documented components and design systems. Design & Development: Collaborate with development teams to design for headless and
Shopify
environments, ensuring designs are flexible, modular, and technically feasible. Design & Development: Implement design updates or light UI enhancements using
Shopify
themes, WordPress, or Liquid, leveraging AI tools for efficiency and experimentation. Marketing Integration: Approach UI design with a marketing-driven mindset, identifying and designing for opportunities that increase engagement, sales, and retention. Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing team to ensure campaign pages align visually and strategically with brand objectives. Marketing Integration: Translate campaign briefs into actionable, conversion-oriented page layouts that balance storytelling and performance. Collaboration & Maintenance: Maintain and organize Figma files, keeping design systems, libraries, and documentation up to date across both sites. Collaboration & Maintenance: Partner cross-functionally with developers, designers, and marketers to ensure seamless design handoffs and implementation. Collaboration & Maintenance: Stay current on design trends, accessibility standards, AI advancements, and emerging tools that elevate creative quality and workflow efficiency. Collaboration & Maintenance: Contribute to a positive, fast-paced studio culture built on collaboration, curiosity, and creative problem-solving. Key Skills & Competencies
Required:
Hands-on experience designing for
Shopify
(themes, apps, and storefront UX) Proven experience designing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that translate strategy into intuitive digital experiences. Proficient in Figma, with a strong understanding of design systems, UI kits, components, and responsive layout principles to maintain consistency across pages and projects. Deep understanding of user experience (UX) and how thoughtful UI design enhances usability, engagement, and conversion. Ability to approach UI design with a marketing mindset — identifying areas of opportunity to drive user engagement, sales, and retention through layout, interaction, and design improvements. Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards, ensuring designs are inclusive and meet usability best practices for all audiences. Experienced in building websites from scratch — including user journeys, flow maps, wireframes, and prototypes. Familiarity with implementing and customizing sites on
Shopify , WordPress, or similar CMS platforms. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment, quickly adapting to evolving priorities and continuous optimization needs. AI-driven mindset — open to using AI tools to improve efficiency, explore design solutions, and assist in lightweight coding tasks. Willingness to learn and work with coding languages like Liquid, using AI support to make UI updates and enhancements. Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits, maintaining clear, updated, and well-structured Figma files for team collaboration.
