Scientific Manager Virology (m/f/x) .

What does this job entail? As a Scientific Manager, you are responsible for the coordination, support, and further development of our research and laboratory activities. You play a central role in developing and implementing new methods and projects and act as a key point of contact for the team. In addition, you take an active role in shaping, monitoring, and reporting on projects.
You will be responsible for:
Actively collaborating on ongoing research projects and coordinating their execution.
Designing projects by drafting and/or refining protocols.
Analyzing and interpreting test results and translating them into clear reports and recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders.
Developing, optimizing, and/or validating new methods and analyses.
Validating and implementing new equipment operationally.
Providing technical and scientific advice that contributes to the further professionalization of our activities.
Providing scientific support to the various business units within the company.
You will work closely with colleagues from the laboratory and animal facilities and report directly to the Department Manager.
What do we expect from you?
You hold a Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant scientific field and have a good command of English.
Experience in Virology research or as a study director in (pre-)clinical trials is an advantage but not a requirement.
Proven hands‑on experience with cell culture and essential virology techniques, such as virus propagation, titration and virus neutralization assays.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to quickly learn new techniques and accurately process data into scientific reports.
Willingness to travel to other Poulpharm entities as required.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
