The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for independently managing a pipeline of mortgage loan files, including the review, verification, and validation of financial, credit, and property documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and investor guidelines. The Mortgage Loan Processor II consistently meets or exceeds established service level agreements (SLAs), proactively manages pipeline flow, and contributes to continuous process improvement while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality customer service.

What You’ll Do
Manage loan files from start to finish with accuracy, accountability, and efficiency in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Partner daily with Account Executives to keep files moving forward and priorities aligned
Gather, organize, verify, and track borrower and property documentation with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
Communicate frequently via phone calls and emails with borrowers, brokers, underwriters, appraisal management companies, title, and insurance partners
Ensure all documentation meets standard operating procedures and underwriting guidelines
Provide consistent, professional, and proactive customer service to internal and external partners
Balance multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy across a large pipeline using strong organizational skills
Utilize advanced technical skills to work effectively in a fully remote setting
Step in to support additional responsibilities as business needs evolve
Authorized Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, SC, TX, UT
Salary Range: $24.00 - $33.00/hour (Non‑Exempt/Hourly/Overtime Eligible)
What We Are Looking For
1+ years of mortgage processing experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience using a mortgage Loan Origination System (LOS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with care
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including frequent phone and email communication
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
Comfort managing a fast‑moving, high‑volume pipeline in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Internal Applicants: Must meet minimum qualifications and have no recent disciplinary actions
