We have a unique role for those with proven abilities to provide detailed market insights, analysis and recommendations supplemented with industry expertise in building collaborative strategies that foster enhanced decision making and strategic growth opportunities for our client partners. We are looking for an experienced consultant with significant industry expertise to join our rapidly growing team, which is dedicated to promoting continued evaluation of, supporting and enhancing the services available to our Life and Disability Carrier Partner relationships along with Vendor Partners who provide services to the industry.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Lockton Specialty Practice and Carrier/Vendor Partners to develop new and differentiated solutions and products to drive value for both Carrier/Vendor Partnerships and Lockton Clients.
Provide consistent, enhanced, and strategic feedback based on aggregated marketing results to Carrier/Vendor Partners within actionable timeframes.
Provide expert advice and direction on service delivery improvements, operational efficiencies, and customer experience enhancements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at large insurance carriers and service/vendor providers.
Secure, lead and manage consulting engagements from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to client needs, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
Mentor and guide a team of consultants fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for clients to enhance their service offerings and delivery experience.
Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure success of consulting engagements.
Represent the practice at industry conferences and events, contributing to thought leadership and brand visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent education and experience. Master’s degree in business preferred.
20+ years group insurance and consulting specifically for life, disability and absence.
P&L Product and Operational leadership experience at an insurance carrier preferred.
Financial analysis and strategic leadership experience in life, disability, and absence brokerage environment or insurance carrier.
Proven track record of leading and managing consulting teams in life, disability and absence space.
Deep understanding and expertise of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, competitive landscape, technology platforms, and distribution strategies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems and evolving market landscape.
Excellent strategic, leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience analyzing large data sets.
Must be available for travel and willing to accept responsibility for client/vendor entertainment.
Legal right to work in the United States.
