MLD is seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer with 1-10 years of professional experience in commercial development. This role is ideal for someone who brings both technical expertise and creative vision, and who is excited about helping MLD Studio expand its reach and reputation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in planting design, irrigation design, code research, and project management. Responsibilities
Lead and support commercial and multi-family landscape architecture projects from concept through construction. Conduct municipal code research and integrate requirements into project designs. Strong, regionally appropriate planting designs across diverse hardiness zones. Review and interpret arborist reports, and prepare tree protection and disposition plans. Manage projects of varying scales, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal team members to deliver high-quality outcomes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. Current Landscape Architecture License or on track to work towards licensure. 1-10 years of experience with commercial development projects. Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred (training available for the right candidate). Strong understanding of planting design and irrigation design principles. Proven ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and self-direct. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
