Position Overview

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and reviewing customer orders, coordinating shipping documentation, and responding to customer inquiries related to pricing, product availability, and order status. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

Enter customer orders Review orders for accuracy, promotions, or special pricing Organize shipping paperwork from warehouse and scan into system Respond to customer questions regarding various topics including product pricing and availability, shipping information and basic technical information Work with computer programs, including on-line vendor systems and Microsoft Excel, to obtain and/or compile information for further analysis and/or processing Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner Qualifications

Some college coursework completed 2–5 years of experience in a customer service or order processing role Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Solid mathematical skills and comfort working with numbers Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Ability to work collaboratively within a team and remain effective under pressure Experience with ERP systems preferred; Great Plains experience a plus
