QA Lead / Media Broadcasting / Knoxville, TN

Overview Job Description: An American owned and operated media company focused on bringing essential news and breaking stories to local communities is looking for a QA Lead to join their software engineering team. The company owns 50+ local news stations affiliated with larger networks. Their mission is to provide high quality journalism to local markets, in addition to offering digital advertising and marketing for local businesses. The QA Lead will help build out automation testing frameworks to support upcoming developments and improve release confidence, reduce manual effort, and scale quality as the platform grows. The role includes autonomy to decide on the best tech stack to build the automation framework on. Experience with both web and mobile automation is required; specific experience with streaming or video playback is a plus.

Java or JavaScript

Selenium or Cypress/Playwright

Mobile Automation Testing

Leadership experience

5+ years of experience

BS in CS or related field is a plus
