The team supports architects, building owners, and design professionals through innovation, education, and collaborative project engagement. Role Overview

The Regional Business Development Manager will drive architectural specifications, demand creation, and technical sales support within an assigned territory. This role focuses on working directly with architects, engineers, and building enclosure consultants to influence project design decisions and grow market adoption of advanced roofing and building envelope systems. Key Responsibilities

Generate product demand by securing inclusion of the company\'s roofing components in building design specifications. Build and manage relationships with architects, engineers, building enclosure consultants, and other project stakeholders. Develop and review technical specifications, including those aligned with KEE and industry standards. Conduct outreach to design firms across both private and public sectors. Identify and pursue new market opportunities using industry platforms and lead‑generation tools. Promote the company\'s value proposition centered on quality, durability, and performance. Coordinate regularly with sales leadership and field teams on project timelines and contractor engagement. Maintain detailed documentation of leads, customer interactions, and opportunities through the company\'s CRM system. Deliver in‑person and virtual presentations, technical seminars, and AIA‑accredited education sessions. Participate in pre‑bid job walks and support other project‑driven initiatives. Adhere to environmental, safety, and organizational standards. Education & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the architectural or design community. CDT or CCPR certification (or willingness to obtain within one year, funded by the company). Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building materials. Comfortable presenting to groups of varying size. Highly organized with strong communication skills. Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and presentation platforms. Familiarity with building envelope systems; knowledge of low‑slope roofing preferred. Active involvement in CSI, IIBEC, or AIA is a plus. Ability to prepare technical specifications or substitutions for submittal review. Benefits
