Business Development Sales Engineer . This role is ideal for a technically strong, customer-facing professional with an electrical engineering background who thrives in driving new business, expanding market presence, and building strategic client relationships. The position blends technical expertise with consultative selling and proactive market development. Responsibilities

Drive new business development by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new customers, projects, and market opportunities. Act as a technical and commercial advisor, supporting client meetings, solution presentations, system walkthroughs, and customized proposals in partnership with the Director of Operations. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support strategic market expansion and revenue growth initiatives. Leverage electrical engineering knowledge to support system integration discussions, project planning, and construction-related technical consultations throughout the sales cycle. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, service, and project management teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements and business objectives. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, and value-driven presentations for prospective and existing clients. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to provide insights that inform business development and sales strategies. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and onsite customer visits to generate leads and strengthen brand presence. Develop and nurture long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up, consultative engagement, and solution-focused support. Partner with leadership and finance teams to review financial metrics, pricing strategies, and deal structures to support profitable growth. Qualifications

2+ years of experience in business development, sales engineering, applications engineering, or technical consulting Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (required). Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience preparing technical proposals, documentation, and client-facing presentations. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (required).
