Job Description
The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and driving end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies that support customer growth, engagement, and retention. This role will lead the development, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing initiatives across onboarding, activation, and retention, primarily supporting consumer banking products such as deposits and checking accounts.
This position requires a strong digital marketing background, the ability to own results from strategy through execution, and close collaboration with cross-functional partners using Agile methodologies.
Candidates with experience supporting consumer banking clients or working within consumer financial services organizations are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Own lifecycle marketing strategy from beginning to end, including onboarding, activation, and retention
Develop, execute, and optimize lifecycle marketing strategies aligned to business objectives
Drive customer onboarding and activation initiatives to improve early engagement and adoption
Lead retention-focused programs designed to deepen relationships and reduce churn
Manage and continuously improve lifecycle marketing roadmaps and prioritization
Own performance outcomes and results end-to-end, from strategy development through execution and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, technology, and marketing partners
Use Agile methodologies to plan, track, and execute marketing workstreams
Leverage Jira to manage workflows, backlog, and delivery milestones
Required Qualifications
Digital marketing experience, ideally within consumer-facing or financial services environments
Experience supporting deposit and/or checking products is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to own initiatives and results end-to-end
Experience developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies
Strong project ownership and execution skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with consumer banking clients or within consumer banking organizations
Familiarity working in Agile teams within regulated industries
