Part-time position

Shift: 8 hour shifts between 12:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Position: Marketing Specialist Shift:

8 hour shifts between 12:00pm - 10:00pm

Responsibilities

Assists and coordinates diverse marketing functions encompassing promotions and events, including collateral, signage, and cross-promotional opportunities.

Supports the development, coordination, and execution of retail promotions, direct mail campaigns, and events targeting the retail audience.

Contributes to planning and executing VIP events with preparation, internal/external communications, and promotional elements; attire may vary by event theme.

Collaborates to curate and execute unique experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and casino promotions to enhance competitive edge.

Responsible for promotion and event setup and organization tasks, completing tasks at least thirty minutes prior to start.

Manages promotional item inventory with regular audits; maintains promotional files and documents; ensures prompt completion and effective team communication.

Creates promotional rules and participates in the review process for all scheduled promotions and events.

Uses various software to create and run electronic promotions and coordinates with internal departments and external vendors for accuracy and SOP compliance.

Analyzes and provides feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and events.

Maintains promotional kiosks and equipment, including appearance, restocking, and coordination with IT for functionality.

Prepares and disseminates monthly marketing overviews and documents; collaborates with internal departments to ensure understanding of promotions.

Upholds professionalism and company image; maintains appearance and behavioral standards.

Monitors and responds to guest feedback, troubleshoots issues, and maintains focus on guest satisfaction.

Supports projects of the VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing, and Promotions & Events Manager as requested.

Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management.

Qualifications

Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.

Associates degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One (1) year of related experience required, preferably in Marketing.

Fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).

Effective communication with external agencies, vendors, customers, and employees at all levels.

Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule.

Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move around the property for the duration of shifts, with or without accommodations.

Ability to tolerate conditions including second-hand smoke, noise, varying temperatures, illumination, vibrations, crowds, and air quality.

Collaboration aptitude, fostering teamwork within the department and with other divisions for successful initiatives.

Compliance with all department, company, regulatory, and governmental requirements.

Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs, and to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in varying work areas.
