
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to develop accurate technical drawings, support sales with conceptual designs, and assist production through clear, detailed documentation. If you’re a detail driven designer with strong problem-solving skills and SolidWorks expertise, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Create and revise detailed CAD models and drawings (SolidWorks). Develop conceptual designs for sales proposals and customer presentations. Produce complete drawing packages, including sheet metal components, weldments, assemblies, 3D routing, and DWG/DXF files. Prepare technical documentation and bills of materials. Support manufacturing, sales, and vendors with technical questions. Manage engineering change requests and contribute to product improvements. What We’re Looking For
Associate degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience. 2–5 years of mechanical design experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Strong mechanical aptitude, accuracy, and attention to detail. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus. Experience with PLC controls, experience in fluid power a plus LPI Lift Systems is a subsidiary ofPlank Enterprises.
