We are looking for a
Hi-Tech Relationship Manager
to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This position is responsible for the originating of new business opportunities, managing the execution for new and existing credit facilities, as well as relationship management and cross sell for an existing portfolio of credit and depository only relationships. Responsibilities
Manages own portfolio of mostly Israeli related Middle Market borrowing and/or depository accounts. Works to generate credit and non-credit opportunities in the market through cultivation of prospects, existing clients and networking with internal and external Centers of Influence (COIs), including Head Office contacts. Structures or restructures credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between customer and bank interests while remaining within bounds of prudent banking and approved credit policy and practice. Manages the execution of credit transactions with the support of the Portfolio Managers and Credit partners. Proactively identifies client problems and manages deteriorating credit situations. Presents new and existing credits to Credit Committee for approval or modification. Interacts with Head Office on mutual client relationship matters as well as credit matters / approvals. Demonstrates credit and non-credit product knowledge. Supports other lines of business by cross selling the banks products and services. Effectively manages competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet goals and objectives. Employs market/competitor awareness in relationship communication and business development opportunities. Familiar with the activity in the accounts they own and act as first line of defense in terms of Compliance risk. Qualifications
Knowledge Demonstrated ability to attract and retain new clients, develop customer relationships and cultivate referral sources. Strong credit and financial analysis skills. Knowledge of Israeli business markets both in the US and Israel. In High Tech - Have strong knowledge of the High Tech sector, including startups, investors, VCs, angels, accelerators, as well as the startup funding cycle/process. Technical Skills System & Technology Use: Strong PC skills – MS office applications, especially Word and Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills/ Multitasking. Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal form. Strong Marketing and Negotiation Skills. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills. Proven ability to analyze financial statements. Familiar with the Israeli Eco-system. Must be a team player Other Pertinent Information
Experience Requires/Preferred : 5 years of relevant work experience preferred; minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience requires with preference to banking experience Education Requires/Preferred : Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Finance/Accounting/Economics. MBA Desirable. Languages Requires/Preferred : Other than English: Fluent Hebrew (both verbal and written) is a plus
