PrimeSource Building Products Inc., a premier specialty branded building products company, has an immediate opportunity for an event marketing coordinator based in our corporate office, located in
Irving, Texas . The event marketing coordinator is a hands-on marketer and reliable executor focused on bringing innovative solutions and a thorough understanding of best practices to assist in producing events ranging in size from a standard 10x10 booth at a trade show to a sales meeting for 300 to a three day customer loyalty program destination trip for 1500 people. Reporting to the Event Marketing Manager, the event marketing coordinator will be the engine behind the production of PrimeSource’s extensive slate of events & meetings – holding responsibility for day-to-day trade show and event coordination of multiple events for multiple brands, sometimes simultaneously. The Role
Managing the marketing and event calendars Preparing and submitting event applications, insurance requirements & contracts. Coordinating event and staff registrations. Establishing booth requirements & collaborating with sales/product teams to procure product. Creating staffing schedule and coordinating travel arrangements & apparel for staff Developing & distributing signage, run of show & sales collateral materials with creative team for sales teams and other support functions Ensuring all employee and corporate memberships are up-to-date and renewed or cancelled on an annual basis. Creating standard operating procedures and reporting for annual events, with actionable timelines) Supporting list management, template creation, and nurture campaigns to drive engagement before, during and after the events Tracking budget/expenses for each event & assists with vendor payment Coordinating KPI & post-event reporting to support recommendations for future years. The Requirements
The person in this role should be adept at working within a team environment and equally comfortable working independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must, as they will be tasked with interfacing and coordinating with internal stakeholders at different levels of the organization. The candidate will be required to provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal & external partners. Incredible precision, attention to detail, and organizational skills. This position is ideal for someone who loves juggling many responsibilities, and takes pride in their ability to do so. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form. Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Desire to thrive in a hybrid work environment and communicate with staff and stakeholders across the country. Experience working with cross-functional teams and projects. Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Entrepreneurial spirit: a self-starter who is internally driven to impact a department and a growth-directed organization. Self-management and initiative (i.e. we can give you a task and you\'ll "run with it" and even teach yourself how to do something.) Ability and willingness to respond to urgent event and travel needs that may be outside of normal business hours as needed. Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 3 years of experience in travel and event management or event operations preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel) and Adobe Suite. Familiarity with project management solutions – i.e. Monday.com, Workfront, etc. Email marketing; preferably Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)
