Your primary role will be to provide design services (space planning, concept packages, and product specifying) for all products offered by The Collective to its clients. Working closely with Sales, Account Management, and CSR team members, you will be responsible for ensuring our proposed furniture solutions are specified correctly, are appropriate for the client’s space, and provide accurate floor plans to ensure the solutions are installed as intended. You will be part of our design team and may be required to communicate directly with design professionals and our key client contacts to ensure assigned projects are completed and client expectations are met. The duties and responsibilities of this position would include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following activities. Specification of primarily Teknion and other ancillary products. Using 20-20 and AutoCAD and/or CET and Spec, create plan views and 3D visuals. Utilize SketchUp and VRay and/or CET, provide visual renderings to support the design process. Participate in client meetings to determine end user requirements. Create specials in AutoCAD and/or CET for supplier approval and pricing. Provide installation drawings for assigned projects. Meet with Field Project Managers, Account Managers and Installation Leads to preview installation requirements. Participation in supplier and industry training programs. Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience working in a similar role in the office furniture industry. Post-secondary diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architecture Experience in developing personal time management and organizational skills Required to undertake multiple projects or facets of various projects Experience liaising with external contracts to exchange information on interior design materials and methods Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook software Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory, working knowledge of CET is a bonus
