We are seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Manager to support our marketing team and contribute to our brand and product initiatives. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborate with cross-functional departments including product development, design, and sales. The Marketing Manager will play a role in executing marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals. This role also requires deep, hands-on experience in e-commerce marketing and social content creation, with a strong understanding of performance-driven content across retail and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

Develop brand specific content for sell-in purposes through storytelling and messaging. Craft creative briefs, messaging, and assets that articulate product positioning and tell compelling product stories to drive demand among retailers and consumers. Familiarity with brand guidelines and adapting tone/style to fit different audiences and channels. Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Analyze market trends and consumer insights to shape marketing strategies and optimize brand performance. Ability to format Nielsen/IRI/Mintel data for internal product performance reviews, trend decks, brand story development, and product positioning across various product categories. Support marketing projects with data-driven insights and business objectives. Assist in the creation of topline summaries across key KPIs of various categories. Play a role in managing the creative development process to produce differentiated outbound messaging and marketing content with an emphasis on B2B marketing and attention to B2C trends. Lead and execute e-commerce and social-first marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on content creation and performance optimization. Own product listing strategies across key retailers and platforms, including keyword research, category analysis, SEO optimization, and A+ content development. Develop and optimize paid and organic advertising assets across e-commerce and social channels to drive conversion, visibility, and brand storytelling. Apply a test-and-learn mindset and bring a fresh, performance-driven perspective to continuously improve e-commerce and social marketing effectiveness. Copywriting experience in marketing, advertising, or related field, including packaging copy, product descriptions, and sales-focused messaging. Proofreading and editing skills, with a meticulous eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and brand voice consistency. Assist in trade show activities, ensuring alignment with overall marketing vision. Experience working with third party vendors assuring deliverables meet scheduled deadlines. Support on-site setup and breakdown logistics alongside marketing and production teams (physical work at times) Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. NYC-based with a flexible schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Minimum 4+ years of brand or product marketing experience, preferably in a B2B setting. Background in consumer goods and marketing; experience in the pet industry is a strong plus. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Industry experience in pet, toy, apparel, personal care, food, supplements, or household products is a bonus. Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with follow-up. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a newly established role. Strong experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Proven leadership ability as demonstrated in previous work experience. What We Offer
