
Clinical Instructor - Nutrition & DPD Program Director

The Clinical Instructor will primarily support undergraduate instruction in nutrition and dietetics, oversee all DPD accreditation and administrative functions, and contribute to service activities within the department and university. This is a teaching-focused role with **no research or scholarship requirements**. As a proud member of the third-largest institution in The Texas A&M University System, ETAMU fosters a strong professional environment that supports career growth and academic excellence.**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:****MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:****Education:** Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related discipline.**Experience / Knowledge / Skills:** Minimum of three years of post-credentialing professional experience as an RD. Experience in teaching, advising, and/or mentoring students in dietetics or nutrition. Experience with curriculum development or program administration in higher education. Strong written and verbal communication skills.**Ability to:** Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.**PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:*** Prior experience as a DPD Director, DPD faculty member, or ACEND-accredited program instructor.* Experience supervising students in applied, clinical, or community-based settings.* Experience in student recruitment or program promotion.* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary department.* Familiarity with online learning technologies and instructional platforms preferred.Welcome to East Texas A&M University, where we transform lives!
