
Overview
Segway Inc. is seeking a skilled Order Management Specialist for a temporary W-2 contract assignment to provide coverage during a protected maternity leave. This fixed-term role ensures continuity of operations while the regular employee is away. The specialist will manage daily order entry and processing in CRM/SAP from purchase order receipt through invoicing, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and on-time fulfillment. The role supports Sales, Supply Planning, and Logistics; troubleshoots EDI issues; manages retail and vendor portals; and upholds a customer-centric experience. The specialist may also identify opportunities to streamline the order-to-cash process. This is a temporary, defined-duration position solely for leave coverage. Any future opportunities will be handled through separate requisitions and are not connected to this assignment. Duration of Contract

Enter, process, and manage orders in CRM/SAP from PO receipt to invoice; maintain data accuracy. Support Sales, Supply Planning, and Logistics to resolve order issues. Support successful executed EDI transactions; investigate and resolve EDI document errors for assigned accounts. Provide account coverage/back-up for teammates as needed; manage workload via dashboards/portals. Navigate multiple systems for tracking, research, and troubleshooting; maintain documentation. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries. Identify resources within Supply Chain to support timely response to Customer inquiries. Consistently provide superior service and exceed customer’s expectations to create and maintain a positive experience for the customer. Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements for on-time and accurate fulfillment. Surface and champion process improvements to eliminate non-value-added work and improve cycle times. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in supply chain/order management in consumer products. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in progressive supply chain/order management with Retail Buyers, Distributors, and/or Brokers, preferably in a eMobility, consumer electronics, or powersports. Hands-on with SAP (or similar ERP), EDI, retail/vendor portals, and related databases/systems. Ability to navigate multiple computerized systems for tracking, analysis, and troubleshooting. Experience contributing in cross-functional settings with internal and external stakeholders. Strong prioritization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple concurrent orders. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong typing/keyboard accuracy. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus. Physical Demands
This role is primarily office or hybrid-based with prolonged periods of computer work, frequent use of keyboards and mouse, and regular virtual/phone communication. Occasional movement of files or product samples up to 25 pounds may be required, as well as brief visits to warehouse or 3PL locations for coordination.
