Sales Manager

to lead, coach, and develop our growing team of Risk Advisors. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, people-focused sales leader who is passionate about driving performance, strengthening sales discipline, and supporting organizational growth. This position leads the sales team’s day-to-day operations to ensure advisors are trained, coached, and supported to win new business and expand the organization’s market presence. Lead, coach, and mentor Risk Advisors: Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, facilitate team meetings, and deliver skill-building workshops. Support each advisor’s development through tailored plans, assist with prospect meeting preparations, and occasionally join prospect meetings to help drive team success. Drive recruitment and bench-building: Identify top talent, manage hiring and onboarding, and implement structured training programs. Build a pipeline of future producers and support the creation of a long-term sales academy to ensure continued team growth and success. Standardize and enforce the sales methodology: Champion proven strategies to create a winning and consistent sales culture. Implement and enforce a scalable, consistent sales system aligned with Flood & Peterson’s growth ambitions. Oversee sales strategy and performance management: Establish ambitious goals, conduct annual business planning for producers, monitor KPIs and revenue targets, review pipeline health and quarterly performance, and address underperformance while driving cross-sell and renewal strategies. Advance market intelligence and vertical strategy: Uncover key trends and emerging opportunities. Equip producers with targeted, vertical-specific insights and tools for strategic wins. Represent the Flood & Peterson Brand: Uphold company values, maintain a positive image, build client and partner relationships, promote the organization, and participate in industry and community events. What You Bring

Education and Work Experience: 4–6+ years of B2B or consultative sales; sales leadership preferred; insurance background a plus. Proven track record in production development and coaching. Coaching and leadership excellence: Ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team to drive performance and empower Risk Advisors. Clear and effective communication: Ability to articulate expectations, strategies, and feedback to motivate the team and align with goals. CRM and analytical proficiency: Experience with CRM tools and data analysis to monitor activities, track progress, and support growth. Strategic thinking and emotional intelligence: Ability to plan ahead, adapt to market trends, and understand team and client needs to create winning strategies. Why Join Us

Salary Range: Starting pay for this exempt position is $150,000 – $160,000 annually. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program.
