We are seeking an experienced
Business Development Account Manager
to grow and manage relationships within
substance use disorder, behavioral health, and treatment center networks . This role is ideal for a
business development professional currently working in—or with deep experience in—the substance abuse treatment space
who is ready to transition into the diagnostics side of healthcare. This is
not transactional sales . Success in this role is driven by
trusted relationships, operational understanding, compliance awareness, and long-term account stewardship . Develop and manage long-term relationships with: Substance abuse treatment centers Behavioral health providers MAT programs and recovery networks Serve as a
strategic partner
to accounts, not just a vendor Educate providers on: Toxicology testing options and workflows Medical necessity and defensible testing practices Operational efficiencies and turnaround times Collaborate with clinical, billing, and client services teams to ensure: Seamless onboarding High service quality Ongoing account retention and growth Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts Maintain accurate CRM documentation and account plans Represent the organization ethically and compliantly at all times Required Experience
3+ years of Business Development, Sales, or Account Management experience
within the substance abuse and or behavioral health space. Established relationships within treatment center or behavioral health networks Proven ability to manage long-term accounts and referral partnerships Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and ethical business development Highly Valued Backgrounds
