smartdept. is searching for a Marketing Contractor for a global payment network client. The ideal candidate will come with 3–5 years of experience. This is a contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation will be discussed based on experience level and fit. This role supports the International Communications team by assisting with the creation, updating, and management of marketing and sales collateral and substantiated claims used to support business growth across global markets. What You’ll Do:

Generate and update claims and messaging using data, research, and reporting to support sales narratives

Develop detailed substantiation and documentation for marketing claims

Collaborate with internal communications team members and marketing agencies on the creation and enhancement of marketing materials, presentations, and sales collateral

Review and update marketing materials based on refreshed claims, messaging, and creative direction

Partner with brand, compliance, and legal teams to obtain approvals for marketing claims and collateral

Create and maintain a central repository for tracking marketing collateral and claims

Upload final approved materials to the central repository and share with relevant stakeholders

Support efforts to create and maintain an online acceptance map and travel guide connecting cardholders to usage locations in key tourist areas

What You’ll Need:

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred

3–5 years of relevant experience

Some B2B financial marketing experience preferred

Nice-to-Have Skills: Ability to document and substantiate data and research to support claims and messaging

Experience working with Tableau or similar data tools

Strong research skills with the ability to integrate findings into active projects

Experience in B2B marketing creative development and agency management

Strong project management and organizational skills

Collaborative and able to work across multiple stakeholders and regions

Exposure to international marketing, communications, or business

Proficiency in PowerPoint with strong visual storytelling skills

Proficiency in Excel

Strong attention to detail
