responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle of integrated electronic security, low-voltage, and correctional control solutions for federal, state, county, and specialty detention facilities. This role combines advanced security systems sales expertise with specialized correctional technology knowledge, serving as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering compliant, reliable, and operationally effective solutions that support life-safety, security, and facility operations. Sales & Business Development
Manage the complete sales process from opportunity identification through contract award and project turnover. Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities using structured sales methodologies such as Sandler, SPIN, Challenger, and similar approaches. Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline within CRM to meet or exceed company revenue goals. Build long-term relationships with correctional administrators, facility leadership, executives, and key stakeholders. Technical & Solution Development
Design, estimate, and propose integrated correctional security and low-voltage solutions. Serve as a technical and operational consultant for correctional facilities, ensuring solutions meet compliance, safety, and operational requirements. Develop solution strategies that address life-safety, security, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Conduct site visits, surveys, and plan/specification reviews to support accurate system design and pricing. Proposal & Project Support
Lead or support customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings. Support RFP, RFQ, and proposal development, including scope reviews, clarifications, and value-engineering opportunities. Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate scoping and seamless project handoff. Participate in contract reviews, project kickoff meetings, and post-award scope validation. Promote and sell service agreements and long-term maintenance and support solutions. Industry Engagement
Represent Convergentz at industry events, trade shows, and correctional technology forums. Stay current on correctional standards, technologies, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to customers. Correctional Technology Solutions
Jail Control Systems Detention Intercom and Communication Systems Electronic Access Control Video Surveillance Systems Integrated Life-Safety and Security Subsystems Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience supporting correctional or public-sector electronic security systems. Hands-on experience with jail control systems, detention intercoms, access control, and video surveillance platforms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of network infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts as they relate to security systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and industry-standard design and estimating tools. Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities. Valid driver's license with willingness to travel as required.
