About the Role Benco Productions is a visual media company producing thoughtful, story‑driven video content for B2B organizations and nonprofit partners. Our work focuses on interviews, real people, and meaningful stories.
We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented video editor to support ongoing projects on a monthly retainer. This is not a one‑off gig. We’re interested in building a long‑term working relationship with someone who values consistency, clear communication, and clean storytelling.
What You’ll Be Editing
Interview‑led B2B videos
Nonprofit storytelling pieces
Thought leadership and recap videos
Social cutdowns derived from long‑form content
Monthly Deliverables On average, you’ll be responsible for:
3 long‑form videos per month (2–4 minutes each, interview‑driven with b‑roll support)
9–12 social cutdowns per month (15–60 seconds, vertical or square formats)
Basic post‑production polish: dialogue cleanup, color correction and grading, lower thirds (templates provided), burned‑in captions or SRT files, logo end cards where required. Deliverables are spread throughout the month, not all at once.
Workflow & Turnaround
Long‑form videos: 3–4 business days
Social cutdowns: 1–2 business days
One round of revisions included per deliverable
Additional revisions billed hourly if required
All creative direction, structure, and notes will be provided — your role is execution and refinement.
Out of Scope (Important) This role does not include:
Advanced motion graphics or animation
Heavy sound design or mixing
Scriptwriting or creative strategy
Full re‑edits due to late creative changes
Compensation $2,000 per month, paid monthly. Ongoing retainer with consistent work. Potential to increase scope and rate over time based on fit and performance.
