Can you translate high level marketing objectives into structured analytical approaches and prompts that become replicable across a book of clients?

TopRank Marketing is looking for someone to join our team that can collect, analyze and interpret data to translate into clear, executive-ready narratives using Google Slides and Looker, tailored to client and internal stakeholder needs.

This role is Contract-to-Hire and 100% remote.

What You’ll Be Doing

Performance Analysis & Insights

Analyze performance within a centralized data warehouse across paid media, organic search, content, social, email, and web analytics

Identify trends, anomalies, and drivers of performance

Connect campaign metrics to business outcomes (leads, pipeline, revenue when available)

Provide summaries with recommended next actions by following analytics threads and uncovering non-obvious insights, not just metrics

Attribution & Funnel Analysis

Support multi-touch attribution and funnel performance analysis

Evaluate channel contribution across awareness → conversion

Assist with CAC, ROAS, LTV, and efficiency analysis where data allows

Measurement and Reporting

Build, maintain, and optimize client dashboards and recurring reports

Translate performance data into clear, client-ready insights, tailored to client and internal stakeholder needs

Identify and ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of KPIs and performance drivers across accounts

Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reporting cadences

Client & Team Partnership

Partner with clients to gain access to data sources

Draft and maintain measurement methodologies, which can be nuanced for each client and metric

Provide make-sense contextualization of metrics: benchmarking that works

Partner with client service, strategy, search, content, and design teams to inform planning, optimization, and client performance discussions.

Support department and agency leadership with data-backed perspectives on agency offerings, measurement approaches, and emerging opportunities

Analytics Implementation & QA

Help implement and QA tracking across platforms (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Ad platform pixels, Conversion events, etc)

Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot tracking issues

Coordinate with dev teams or clients on data access and permissions

Ensure analytical with is grounded in accurate, well-understood data definitions and assumptions

Identify gaps or limitations in available data and proactively recommend improvements or workarounds

Document key methodologies, recurring prompts, and insight frameworks to support consistency and scalability

What Experience You Need To Have

5-7 years of experience as a marketing analyst, performance analytics or similar

Understanding of attribution models, funnel analysis and KPI frameworks

Can distinguish signal vs. noise in performance data

Comfortable making recommendations— not just reporting numbers

Data hygiene, QA, and troubleshooting mindset

Strong proficiency in analytics (GA4, Adobe Analytics), Google Looker Studio (or similar BI tools), BigQuery

Excel in communication: comfortable presenting to internal teams and clients and tailoring insights to the different audiences

Strategic and business skills: connecting metrics to marketing and business goals (translation of data into insights, and insights into recommended marketing actions) across different channels in integrated programs

Experience supporting marketing programs across channels such as search, content, paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.) and website performance.

Full understanding of Microsoft and Google Suites

At least 3 years of agency experience (comfortable working across multiple clients & industries), strong prioritization and time management, adaptable to different tech stacks and data maturity levels and detail-oriented while managing fast-paced workloads

Experience in data warehouse architecture (bonus points for direct experience with Improvado)
