Overview As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.

Responsibilities

Lead the mobile service team, ensuring technicians are supported, motivated, and deliver excellent service in the field.

Utilize existing knowledge of dealership operations to integrate mobile service smoothly with in-store processes.

Oversee scheduling and dispatching to balance workload and maximize efficiency.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, warranty standards, and dealership policies.

Act as a direct point of contact for customers when issues arise in the field, maintaining strong relationships.

Track and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

Support the service department by cross-training staff and promoting collaboration between in-dealership and mobile teams.

Maintain high levels of professionalism and represent the dealership brand positively in all customer interactions.
