# Interior DesignerDurham, NC 27701## Description**The Role in Brief**The Interior Designer will possess the skills to be an integral part of the interior design effort through all phases of a project. This position requires the candidate to be a leader within a team to develop solutions, create project designs, and participate in design charrettes. The Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, small to large-scale space planning, and must possess a working knowledge of interior construction detailing, interior specification coordination, be able to create conceptual designs and FF&E specifications. The ID will be responsible for preparing and leading presentations, design drawings, and managing construction drawings as well as coordination of all trades related to interior building design.## Qualifications* 2-5 years professional experience* Proficiency in Revit and Adobe suite software* Excellent graphic presentation skills* Strong communication skills* Knowledge of Building Codes* Ability to multitask and self-manage time* Professional degree in Interior DesignStrongly Preferred Requirements:* Pursuit of NCIDQ and LEED accreditation* Rendering experience with Enscape, Lumion or similar programs* Professional experience in healthcare design*Physical Requirements:** Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
