Job Locations: US-SC-Greenville Designer IV (DT IV) is the fourth level in the Designer career track. The role provides designs for utility systems including overhead and underground circuits for joint use, lighting, and commercial, industrial and residential development, as well as gas and generation systems. It also handles field data collection and assists with storm restoration when requested. DT IV works on moderately complex design projects and supports more complex projects with significant independence. The role involves substantial office work and significant field work under varying weather conditions. Key Technical Skills

CAD experience Power Distribution experience Pole Analysis software WMS experience (ex. Maximo) Understanding of Electrical Components Circuit knowledge of electrical components Advanced distribution techniques (switchgear, cap bank) Conduit systems Reliability schemes Field and work zone safety Your Key Responsibilities

Independently perform field data collection and project-specific inspections for complex projects. Produce high-quality CAD drawings and material lists for moderately complex projects, providing support for more complex tasks as required. Document all necessary communications on projects as required by training. Provide guidance and training to peers and newer designers for simple projects. Produce permitting documentation independently as needed. Communicate with clients and lead site meetings with oversight. The role works independently with limited oversight, under supervision for mentorship and training. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with seven years of relevant work experience; or an Associate's Degree with five years of distribution-design related work experience. Valid driver's license. Company Overview
