is seeking a motivated
Sales Representative
to support commercial growth across downstream oil & gas, adhesives, polymer, and industrial chemical markets. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in
Houston, Texas , ideal for someone with technical training and early‑career commercial experience who wants to grow into a strategic sales role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of customers in downstream O&G, specialty process oils, adhesives, and related industries.
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to expand market presence.
Act as a technical‑commercial advisor, aligning product capabilities with customer needs.
Lead customer meetings, presentations, site visits, and product discussions.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, supply chain) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
Prepare sales forecasts, proposals, commercial reports, and maintain CRM accuracy.
Support strategic planning and pricing initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
MUST have Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 1 year of experience
in one or more of the following:
Downstream oil & gas
Aromatic process oils
Adhesives formulation or related specialty materials
Proven
business development or sales experience
in technical or industrial markets.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.
Strong relationship‑building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with specialty oils, process oils, lubricants, polymer additives, or related chemical products.
Existing industry network within downstream operators, formulators, or chemical manufacturers.
Demonstrated success in revenue growth, account management, or lead development.
Ability to operate independently in a hybrid environment and manage a diverse customer base.
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule
based in
Houston, TX
(onsite and remote work).
Occasional domestic travel for customer visits, industry events, or conferences.
