The Sales Manager works with the wider Altera Distribution Account teams to develop and drive effective sales pipeline.Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Builds and maintains relationships with Distribution Account Management at all levels to influence their long-term strategic direction, while promoting Altera’s products and solutions.* Determines the team’s quantitative and qualitative targets in alignment with sales targets and strategic objectives and drives the team to achieve these goals.* Ensures that best sales practices are followed to position Altera’s brand, manage pipeline, and build customer and distribution relationships.* Monitors and ensures steady business growth by spearheading business cycles, including prospecting, qualifying, and forecasting in the assigned accounts through partner ecosystem.* Leads research efforts to understand the trends in market & competition landscape and pivots strategies for their distribution account teams to effectively fill pipeline and close design win opportunities.* Oversees consumer sales and marketing campaigns to improve Altera's brand and business position.* Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.* Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.Note: This is a commissioned sales position.The compensation below is reflective of a sales role that includes a salary + incentive. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor within the US market. Actual compensation may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc.$254.7K - $375.3K USDWe use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for the position.
