TMD is seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Account Manager

to join our team in one of our key locations: South Carolina, Sarasota, or Tampa. The Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and customers, leveraging extensive knowledge of TMD product lines, building codes, and vendor capabilities to deliver competitive, compliant, and value-driven solutions for construction projects. This position is responsible for supporting revenue growth through competitive pricing, product expertise, and seamless coordination between customers, vendors, and our internal operations teams. Key Responsibilities

Sales Management : Develop accurate quotes—including pricing, material takeoffs, and specifications—ensuring compliance with local and state building codes. Identify opportunities to improve value, margin, and competitive edge. Customer Experience : Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from initial quote through delivery, service, and closeout. Maintain clear, proactive communication to manage expectations, address inquiries, and resolve issues. Project Execution : Prepare all project documentation, including submittals, warranties, and closeout packages. Create Schedules of Values (SOVs) and gather project-specific details such as phasing, lead times, and delivery schedules to support accurate handoff and efficient execution Vendor & Purchasing Collaboration : Work closely with the Director of Sales and VP of Purchasing to support vendor negotiations. Assist in evaluating vendor pricing, lead times, and product suitability to maintain competitiveness and quality standards. Product Knowledge & Advisory Role : Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all TMD product lines, applications, and performance criteria. Advise Business Developers, Project Coordinators, and customers on appropriate product selections based on project requirements, value, and performance goals. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of

3–5 years

of experience in account management, sales support, or project coordination within the construction, windows, doors, or building materials industry. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of building codes, construction specifications, and material takeoffs. Proven ability to prepare accurate quotes, SOVs, and project documentation. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience working with vendors and supporting purchasing decisions. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce); experience with industry-specific software is a plus. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Customer-focused with a strong commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and follow-through. Ability to manage completing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements
