This account manager would be responsible for Bowling Green KY and Louisville KY areas.

Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates and implements sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

Schedules appointments to explain products and services available.

Informs regular customers of new products or services, market trends and price changes.

Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business.

Explains merits of programs to persuade customers to purchase products.

Sets up merchandise and sales promotion display or issue sales promotion materials to customers.

Attempts to resolve problems encountered with customer's process.

Coordinates with suppliers to provide needed products to customers in a timely manner.

Effectively communicate customer needs and changes internally to purchasing, customer service and management including forecast changes, credit concerns, competitive data, etc.

Complete customer profiles for all new accounts and update existing accounts as needed.

Assist District Manager in growing operating profit.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Marketing or other related science or field.

3-5 years B2B sales experience and/or training preferred.

CRM experience preferred.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver’s License Required.

Strong writing skills for reports and business correspondence.

Effective communication skills for presenting information and responding to queries from managers and customers.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Problem-solving skills to manage diverse and non-standard situations.

Demonstrated ability to effectively use Office 365 application.

Physical Capabilities & Requirements:

Occasional standing, walking, and sitting.

Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Will frequently work in outdoor weather conditions.
