Job Discription: Sales and Marketing of our print, digital and contest products, to include display ads in all newspapers: The Myrtle Beach Herald, The Horry Independent, Carolina Forest Chronicle, Loris Scene, North Strand News, Horry News & Shopper, and VISIT! as well as promotion of seasonal publications, digital campaigns and contests, and special sections.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly prospect through direct visits, email, phone, and social media, and set targets.
Conceptualize and manage the creation of strategic print and digital marketing materials, from brainstorming with the client, through design and editorial review, to print and/or digital distribution.
Write up sales proposals for new and existing leads.
Manage sales through CRM software system
Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Making cold calls.
Networking through local Networking groups.
Prospecting for new customers.
Building relationships and servicing advertisers in assigned territory.
Traveling in the designated territory
Help identify distribution business locations for any of our core or seasonal products.
