We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and innovative leader for Guardian’s Enterprise Strategy team. In the role of

Enterprise AI Strategy Leader , you will help develop the long-term approach for Guardian’s AI strategy and work with senior leaders to identify, develop, evaluate, and prioritize AI strategic initiatives across the organization. You will lead cross-functional project teams to ensure Guardian invests in AI solutions aligned with long-term strategic goals and generates a strong ROI on AI investments. A successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify enterprise-wide AI needs, patterns, and challenges. You will provide strategic guidance, ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, build market and competitive intelligence, and prioritize multiple AI workstreams. The role reports to Guardian’s Head of Strategic Growth & Planning and partners with Corporate Development, AI Strategic Transformation, Data & Technology, Finance, and business teams. You will work with a team of associates and analysts and have an opportunity to coach and develop them. Your work will span across AI market intelligence, alignment of AI investments to enterprise strategy, enterprise-wide strategic synthesis, AI investment tracking, AI governance, and AI strategy communications for senior leaders. Responsibilities

AI market intelligence, competitive research, and key trends – identify emerging themes and opportunities within the industry and across other industries, focusing on AI tools and processes Alignment of AI investments to enterprise strategy – ensure investments in key AI capabilities to support our enterprise-wide strategy and drive impact; integrate with the enterprise portfolio planning process Enterprise-wide strategic synthesis – understand AI needs, challenges, and opportunities across the enterprise, connecting use cases to business needs and identifying opportunities for scale or collaboration AI investment tracking – track costs and returns from AI initiatives, in partnership with Finance and Data & Technology, to ensure value from AI initiatives AI governance – implement an AI governance model and ensure efficient decision-making for key AI-related decisions (build/buy/partner); ensure stakeholders are consulted and informed AI strategy communications for senior leaders – develop synthesis and materials for senior leadership fora (Steering Committees, Guardian Leadership Team meetings, Board) You are

A strategic problem-solver with experience using frameworks and analysis to make data-driven decisions Knowledgeable about AI trends, opportunities, and technologies; experienced with technology transformations and enterprise change management Highly collaborative and able to lead cross-functional teams, managing projects with input from multiple stakeholders Skilled at influencing; able to navigate the organization and work in cross-functional teams with strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and judgment Extremely organized; able to prioritize across multiple projects Effective and confident communicator (oral and written) Intellectually curious and innovation-minded You have

Bachelor’s degree from a top institution with strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership; MBA preferred but not required 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, technology transformation, product development, or business management Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel You will

This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in our Hudson Yards NY location Salary Range

$152,290.00 - $250,195.00 The salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location. Final salary will be based on education, experience, knowledge, and abilities. In addition to salary, this role may be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation. Our Promise
