12 months CTG is seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst – Financial Crime & Compliance
to support enterprise financial services initiatives focused on
transaction monitoring, sanctions, and screening . This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery within Agile environments. The ideal candidate brings strong
financial crime domain expertise , excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience translating complex regulatory and business needs into functional and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to
financial crime, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and screening Translate business needs into
detailed functional specifications
and
strategy/design documents Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to capture, validate, and document
decision rules and data attributes Create comprehensive documentation of
business requirements, processes, workflows, and solutions Participate in
testing and validation
of new systems and processes to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements Propose and design
process and technical solutions
that meet business objectives Participate actively in
Agile ceremonies , including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives Manage
JIRA stories, epics, and technical tasks
tied to integration and delivery efforts Support
data mapping and transformation activities , including incoming and outgoing
API payloads Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery Required Qualifications
7–8+ years
of experience as a Business Analyst within
financial services Strong business knowledge of: Financial crime Transaction monitoring Sanctions Screening Hands-on experience with
JIRA
and Agile delivery methodologies Proven ability to gather and document requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications Experience working with
decisioning rules, data attributes, and integrations Solid understanding of
credit card decisioning, consumer lending, or banking domains Excellent
communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
skills Nice to Have
Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise financial services programs Familiarity with regulatory-driven technology initiatives Experience working in remote, distributed teams Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
