Job Description NBCU Local Chicago is seeking a Brand Motion Graphics Producer to support our Creative Services, Marketing and Multiplatform Departments. This role is ideal for a strong foundational animator who excels in layout, design, and typography, and is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. He/she will work closely under senior creative leadership, contributing to daily motion graphics needs across linear, digital, and marketing platforms.
This position emphasizes strong visual fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to execute creative concepts efficiently while maintaining established brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality on-air, digital, and marketing motion graphics that align with NBCU Local Chicago brand standards
Support senior creative leadership on brand initiatives, promos, show packaging, and daily graphics requests
Execute strong layout and typography-driven work across still and motion projects
Prepare motion templates and refine assets using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
Maintain consistency across all deliverables while meeting tight deadlines
Collaborate with producers, editors and other stakeholders to deliver creative solutions
Manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and organization
Qualifications
Strong foundation in animation and motion graphics with an emphasis on layout and typography
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
Demonstrated ability to create both still and motion design work
Ability to present a portfolio showcasing design sense and motion work
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Desired
Experience working in a broadcast, news, or live production environment
Working knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D tools (Blender, Unreal Engine)
Understanding of brand systems and visual identity guidelines
Experience producing for multiple platforms (broadcast, social, digital)
Bi-Lingual a plus (Spanish/English)
Must work well in a collaborative, team environment and be able to multi-task
Demonstrate solid creative skills and the ability to take art direction

Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000
