Overview
WinnCompanies seeks a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented
Communications Specialist
to join our corporate communications team at our headquarters in
Boston, MA .
This individual will help advance WinnCompanies’ ability to compete for new business opportunities, protect and amplify the company’s brand reputation, support employee engagement and retention efforts, assist in recruitment and support communications for internal and external channels across multiple mediums. The Specialist will own the social media strategy and execution, in addition to providing communications support for graphic design, video production, event coordination, and administrative duties for the department.
The salary range for this role is $60,000.00-$80,000.00 annually dependent on experience. The selected candidate will also adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. This is a hybrid role based out of our Boston office.
Responsibilities
Proactively identify, curate, and produce compelling content for use across all internal and external channels – including new business proposals, marketing collateral, presentations, e-newsletters, company intranet, corporate website, advertisements, and award submissions.
Manage all external and internal social media channels to amplify and elevate the brand and align with company goals & objectives.
Maintain, audit, and monitor all company social media channels, including managing audience engagement, reporting analytics, and content strategy, creation, and posting.
Provide communications support for key internal and external company events, Town Halls, and special projects.
Partner with internal teams to drive the company’s reputation management strategy across all employer brand channels and platforms, such as Indeed, Glassdoor, Google Business Profile, etc., to help WinnCompanies attract and engage top talent and support employee retention.
Support creative service’s needs, including graphic design, video editing and production, and maintaining the company’s image library.
Monitor media coverage, establish and track communication metrics (KPIs), and report on communications and campaign effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field.
2-5 years of similar communications experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, motivated team player with stellar customer service skills (engaging with various internal and external stakeholders).
Experience with computer systems and web-based applications, including Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, is required.
Experience with design software (Adobe Express, Canva), content management systems, Google Analytics and reporting, and basic SEO principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet).
Experience with AI tools (Copilot).
Experience with video editing and production support (Premiere Pro, Animoto).
