As a Marketing Manager for the animal health private label division, you will be responsible for launching new products in the animal health space and continuing to grow existing product lines in all market channels (direct-to-producer, veterinary, and dealer markets). The Marketing Manager develops strategic plans to meet our company's goals, to build brand awareness, grow product sales, and aid the sales team to drive product placement in the animal health industry. The Marketing Manager will also collaborate with the animal health portfolio managers to find new products to bring to market, research market potential, and understand potential pain points and challenges within the industry. Plan, develop (including copywrite) and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans to promote the assigned segment/category

Work closely with the Director of Private Label to identify targeted product growth opportunities

Develop relevant messaging and promotion offers to engage these target segments to purchase

Develop customer-facing tools and marketing material to enable the field-based sales organization to close deals and deliver profitable growth

Assist with process improvement projects to streamline current approaches

Understand target customer pain points and what is valued through voice of customer research

Stay current on market trends, best practices and the competitive landscape, adapting strategies to changing business conditions

Attend external networking/ learning events to ensure awareness of marketing advancements

Attend trade shows, buying shows, and sales meetings to work the booth or present to the teams

Perform other Marketing Manager duties as assigned

Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

At least 5 years of Marketing/Communications experience required

Proven ability to work with sales representatives and an understanding of the customer sales cycle

Knowledge of the animal health space, preferably in the production animal space

Understanding of the dealer, veterinary, and direct-to-producer channels

Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan

Experience meeting project deadlines and achieving KPI goals while delivering positive ROI

Appreciation for and understanding of various marketing technologies e.g. marketing automation

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Confident, outgoing, detail-oriented self-starter

Curious with a drive to achieve results and develop /sharpen marketing skills

Team player who can function independently and thrives in team collaboration

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines

Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities

Excellent organization and project management skills

Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets

Ability to read through large amounts of data to find trends, opportunities, pain points, etc.

Ability to create presentations and present to large groups of people

Working Conditions Physical Demands Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday

May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment

Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing

Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendors

Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents

Environmental Factors This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building’s primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services. Travel This position will have required travel up to 35 - 40% of the time (off-site meetings, shows, and customer events).

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.$85,500.00 - $106,800.00
