The Ambassador role delivers service excellence and enhances the visitor management experience by placing Ambassadors and Lead Ambassadors at public entrances and Information Desks. Ambassadors provide clear guidance to help visitors navigate the campus, offer support upon arrival, listen to concerns, address issues, and work toward resolution, reinforcing MD Anderson's commitment to exceptional care and service. The Ambassador role supports the Welcome initiative and influences departmental functions and overall patient and visitor satisfaction. Salary Range: $37,450.00 - $42,725.00 - $48,000.00

Key Responsibilities
Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening.
Accurately provides information and instruction pertaining to the hospital campus to patients, visitors and staff.
Maintains a highly professional and positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and performs multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.

Education
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Associate's degree in related field.
Experience
Required:
Two years of customer service experience responding to customer inquiries or related experience. Bachelor's degree can be substituted for required experience.
Preferred:
Healthcare and/or Hospitality experience.
