JOB DESCRIPTION FOX News Edge serves more than 170 newsrooms, providing content that is a cornerstone of news programming on FOX television stations across the country. We seek a top‑notch coordinating producer who is energized by working on a broad portfolio of stories in the newsroom and control room. This coordinating producer will oversee work with a team of writers and producers to oversee coverage of various live events and cut‑in programming.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES:

Take ownership of FOX News Edge live productions, including breaking news cut‑ins, major events, and news updates airing nationwide

Collaborate with producers and writers to build compelling live programming rundowns

Research, write, and edit stories seen coast‑to‑coast

Keep the team ahead of breaking news and major events through quick thinking and agility in and out of the control room

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Exemplary news judgment and grasp of journalism best practices

Line producing experience and live control room experience

Detail‑oriented, specifically in editing and on‑screen graphics creation

Excellent writing skills, spelling and grammar

Ability to be flexible and adjust as breaking news dictates

Ability to work well with others under strict deadlines

Strong knowledge of current events

Bachelor's degree (preferably in related field)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $102,000.00-130,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
