Job Description Summary We are looking for a Manager to help Mastercard reach more customers through strategic partners focusing on our payment security and Insights solutions in the North America region. This quota‑carrying, revenue‑producing role is responsible for developing and managing channel and alliance partner relationships within North America, executing our strategy with regional nuances for the full partner lifecycle: partner recruitment, onboarding, revenue activation, and growth.

Role

Define the desired profile of potential partners with management.

Research, identify, qualify, and screen potential partners that align with the target profile.

Gain qualified partners’ commitment by presenting a compelling business proposition.

Develop a joint business plan (including sales targets) before contract negotiations.

Maintain a solid pipeline of qualified prospective partners to meet recruitment targets.

Meet assigned revenue targets through sell‑to / sell‑with channel partners.

Drive onboarding and activation of new partners, ensuring they are enabled, equipped, and motivated within established timeframes.

Engage Mastercard resources and stakeholders to support partnership objectives and sales opportunities (e.g., direct sales, product liaisons, marketing).

Manage channel pipeline and forecast reporting, tracking progress through the sales cycle.

Lead monthly partner alignment sessions to review pipelines, conduct win/loss analysis, and develop account penetration strategies.

Work with high‑performing partners to develop an annual joint business plan that defines strategies and activities to meet revenue goals; review and adjust in quarterly business reviews.

Provide partner and market feedback to internal functions (sales, product, marketing) on tools and programs.

Assist in field marketing activities (e.g., staff a trade show booth, deliver sales presentations).

All About You

Experience in the payments security and data space with familiarity of evolving customer needs and partner landscape.

Experience sourcing, qualifying, screening, and forming business relationships with channel partners at the CXO level.

Experience managing major customer / partner relationships to create growth and maintain transparency, trust, and collaboration.

Strong personal network within the industry.

Experience developing and managing joint business planning with partners.

Strategic thinker who can quickly formulate market opportunities and move to action.

Comfortable with ambiguity and a build‑as‑we‑go mentality.

Fan of working with people internally or externally; unafraid of pitching and handling rejections.

Commercially oriented—always seeking the next major opportunity.

Great listener and collaborator who stays humble and continually learns from internal teams and external experts.

National Salary Range $139,000–$222,000 (applies regardless of location)

Compensation and Benefits In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
