Position Overview Joyce is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our in-home sales organization across the Charlotte and Columbia markets. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and developing field sales representatives, and ensuring a consistent, professional customer experience.
This role oversees two major markets and requires regular travel between Charlotte and Columbia. The Sales Manager will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and operations teams to execute regional sales strategy, improve conversion performance, and build a strong, accountable sales culture.
Compensation This role offers a competitive compensation structure that rewards leadership performance and personal sales contribution. Compensation includes:
Base salary (target range $60,000–$70,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates)
Commission on personal sales
Sales Override on team performance
Profit Sharing Opportunities
Car allowance
Phone allowance

What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and manage a team of in-home field sales representatives across Charlotte and Columbia
Drive regional sales strategy, revenue growth, and market penetration
Conduct regular ride alongs, training sessions, and performance coaching
Set clear expectations and accountability for sales activity, close rates, and customer experience
Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales representatives
Participate in hiring decisions and succession planning
Maintain expert knowledge of Joyce products including windows, bathrooms, and sunrooms
Actively sell alongside the team as needed to model best practices
Monitor sales metrics, forecasts, and performance reporting
Partner with marketing to optimize lead flow, territory coverage, and conversion
Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction
Uphold Joyce brand standards and professional sales processes
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You Have
Required industry experience in home improvement sales (windows, bathrooms, and/or sunrooms)
Previous experience managing an in-home or field-based sales team
Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold sales professionals accountable
Strong product knowledge, including familiarity with specific brands and systems
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding team-based revenue goals
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to travel regularly between the Charlotte and Columbia markets
Experience working within a manufacturing or factory direct sales environment
