An Inside Sales Manager at Capital One leads, manages, and motivates a small team of Relationship Managers (Credit Buyers) by guiding them to meet and exceed loan origination performance objectives. This role monitors and grants credit exceptions in accordance with Capital One policy within the scope of individual credit level authority. You will provide training, coaching, and guidance to ensure understanding and adherence to essential sales processes. The Inside Sales Manager also directly manages a territory of dealers, driving business results through relationship building and the negotiation and decisioning of submitted applications. Responsibilities

Ownership of the team’s recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and development of associate talent. Offer impact performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action. Guide employee’s success using a framework that encourages employee contribution, feedback, and growth. Empower career development planning and opportunities. Delegate responsibility and welcome accountability and regular feedback. Foster a spirit of teamwork and cohesion aligning with Capital One’s open culture and the appreciation of diversity of people and thought. Strategically analyze data, statistics, and operational results transforming low outcomes into solutions. Manage employee work schedules including vacations, holidays, paid time off and overtime opportunities ensuring team needs are met. Foster a collaborative team by demonstrating transparent communications across the team through regular group and one-on-one meetings. Partner successfully with peers and teammates to efficiently achieve operational alignment and mutual objectives. Schedule Expectations

Available ~3 Saturdays a month as needed to cover dealer inquiries and escalations with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off. In office 5 days a week for the first 90 days of training. Potential to work up to 2 Sundays a month with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification At least 2 years of Financial Services Experience or Business to Business Sales Experience Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of experience in Indirect Auto Finance 2+ years of experience in Credit Underwriting 3+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $138,100 - $157,700 for Inside Sales Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
