
A global leader in bio/pharmaceutical testing services are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the Western United States specifically for their Small Molecule division. The group represents the largest harmonized network of GMP bio/pharmaceutical product testing laboratories worldwide and provides end-to-end CMC laboratory services to leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical organizations, supporting every stage of the drug development lifecycle and all major functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing. These services include, but are not limited to, method development, microbiology, process validation, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets for the West territory (California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada) by deepening relationships within existing accounts and developing new business across research, development, and manufacturing markets
Generate new opportunities within the small molecule sector, aligned with strategic focus areas, operational capabilities, and laboratory capacity
Identify, develop, and secure new business through in-person client meetings and virtual presentations
Collaborate cross-functionally to advance opportunities and support successful execution
Leverage experience to mentor and support colleagues on the Inside Business Development team
Requirements:
Experience selling services within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector (e.g., CDMO, CRO, CTO, or testing services)
Experience with Small Molecules - ideally Cell & Gene Therapies
Recent experience conducting field-based sales activities and in-person customer engagements
Strong scientific aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a high level of self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of two years of experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management within the contract services or testing services industry
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time
Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
