We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Business Development Executive – Microsoft
to join our team, focusing on selling services to clients that have invested in Microsoft platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft’s suite of products and services, along with a proven track record in enterprise sales. Further, Rightpoint expects that this salesperson has a strong understanding of employee experience strategy and driving complex, multistakeholder engagements with IT and Human Resources organizations. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, capable of driving business growth through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management.
What You’ll Be Doing and the Impact You’ll Make:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for Microsoft services
Understand Microsoft as an alliance / channel partner, and be able to navigate their organization to build relationships with sales partners
Expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers in searching for Employee Experience transformation
Identify new business opportunities and manage the end‑to‑end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
Stay updated on industry trends and Microsoft product updates to effectively position our services
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services
Travel ~20% of the time to visit customers and partners
What We’d Love to See:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the services sector
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Copilot, Azure, Office 365, Viva, the Power Platform, and related services
Understanding of Microsoft as a company, and what drives their different roles to leverage services partners
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certifications in Microsoft Technologies
Experience working with enterprise clients in various industries
Deep network of connections at Microsoft
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
