Builder Sales Business Development Manager – East , based in
Irvine, California , to grow Bromic’s presence across the residential builder, remodel, and pergola dealer markets. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys territory ownership, field engagement, and driving adoption of premium building products.
Role Responsibilities
Territory & Builder Development
– Identify, engage, and grow relationships with custom home builders, remodelers, and renovation specialists to specify Bromic products in outdoor living projects.
Pergola Dealer & Channel Management
– Scout, onboard, and support pergola dealers, ensuring strong product knowledge, effective promotion, and alignment with Bromic programs.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Ownership
– Own regional sales targets, build and manage a healthy pipeline through outreach and in-person engagement, and guide opportunities from first contact to close.
Market Insights & Collaboration
– Gather competitive and market intelligence, share insights with sales leadership, and collaborate with marketing and channel partners (including Ferguson) to support growth.
Events, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
– Represent Bromic at trade shows and builder events, execute localized marketing initiatives, and provide regular performance updates and field feedback to improve programs and offerings.
Who we are looking for
Experienced Field Sales Professional
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management, or related field, with 5–10 years of experience in field sales or business development within residential construction or building products.
Strong Territory & Pipeline Manager
– Proven ability to meet or exceed targets through disciplined pipeline management, proactive outreach, and structured territory planning.
Industry-Savvy Relationship Builder
– Familiar with residential builders, pergola manufacturers, and renovation channels, with the ability to build strong partnerships across premium or luxury segments.
Entrepreneurial & Results-Driven
– Proactive in identifying new opportunities, adapting sales strategies, and driving growth in competitive markets with a focus on features, benefits, and value.
Technically Curious & Collaborative
– Strong technical aptitude with durable products, comfortable selling solutions, and able to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams.
