Summary:
As a Product Specialist at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support both engineering and manufacturing functions through pre‑production builds, configuration management, process improvement, and maintaining required documentation for the associated processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the assembly of all pre‑production modules and systems
Track and maintain the configuration management of all pre‑production modules/systems
Proactively seek out production and quality issues related to the product design or manufacturing process, and resolve those issues accordingly
Prepare, support, and maintain documentation related to test instructions, manufacturing instructions, or inspection plans
Update product structures, shop orders, and MRB’s as required
Create Change Requests (CR’s) and Change Orders (CO’s) as required to update drawings, parts lists, test requirements, or test procedures
Work with engineers and technicians to review and optimize current testing and production processes
Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities as needed
Perform testing, collect data, and analyze the results, including documentation of the findings
Support DVT and Qualification activities as required
Function effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
Support system integration testing
Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:
Demonstrated experience working hands‑on in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Knowledge and familiarity with RF test equipment, such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other standard RF test equipment
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, remain organized and complete objectives on time
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
Familiarity with IFS, Shop Orders, Product Structures, and MRB’s
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Possess practical, hands‑on skills and an ability to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and operators
Ability to read drawings
Working knowledge of RF measurements such as bandwidth, gain, selectivity, IL, RL, and other variables
Must have excellent written and verbal skills
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools (i.e. continuous improvement) a plus
Requirements Include:
Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident – green card holder)
High School and 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience with RF based systems required
Experience with RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators required
