Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), Stanford, California, United States. Executive Education develops and manages the school’s non-degree program offerings. The mission is to “use GSB faculty ideas to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact throughout their organizations.” The Executive Education programs team seeks an Associate Director of Programs. The role works with faculty and corporate client partners to create and deliver impactful Executive Education programs for senior corporate executives. You’ll help drive the growth of open enrollment programs by leveraging market insights, enrollment trends, competitive analysis, and curriculum innovation to attract highly qualified participants and build dynamic, well-balanced cohorts. This position reports to a Director in GSB Executive Education. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) onsite role with a hybrid schedule of at least 2 days per week; some work outside of the normal 8 am – 5 pm day is expected. Primary Responsibilities
Lead the planning and operations for multiple high-touch on-campus and blended (on-campus/online) open enrollment and custom programs. Independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program. Support senior Stanford faculty to redesign programs based on corporate client needs, market opportunities, faculty research, and Stanford differentiation. Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include participant and custom client relationship development and communications. May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting. Assess training needs and may develop associated training. Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines. Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness. Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budget goals. Demonstrated solid planning, organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Exceptional client relationship management skills, coupled with proven ability to develop and nurture professional business partnerships. In Addition, Preferred Requirements Include
Strong relevant subject matter knowledge. Compensation and Benefits
The expected pay range for this position is $120,038 - $133,379 per year. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. At Stanford University, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
