Position Summary... What you’ll do
Assist management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques, and ensuring member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines and policies. Support Open Door Policy, participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching and evaluating associates. Maintain safety of facility according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting and handling, disposing of hazardous materials, reporting unsafe situations to management. Support the Sams Club ecommerce plan by overseeing ecommerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up, Ship From Club), auditing online feedback, resolving customer complaints, identifying trends, and assisting management in implementing solutions. Supervise associates supporting ecommerce programs by training and providing resources, assigning duties, and ensuring coverage. Execute the Sams Club Pickup plan and processes by updating operations with KPIs, auditing orders for accuracy, ensuring equipment availability, and training staff; monitor CPU performance and develop new metrics. Lead projects to improve CPU efficiencies, model appropriate picking/loading, execute process improvement projects, evaluate program plans, identify gaps and implement solutions; ensure proper staffing of Sams Club Pickup. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding and supporting self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services. Ensure maintenance of sales floor and merchandise presentation; handle claims and returns, stock, display setup, pricing, shrink and damage control, and secure fragile/high-shrink items. Oversee picking and staging of club pickup orders; ensure proper selection and staging according to policy. Develop, communicate and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; monitor progress and identify improvements. Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, procedures and ethics; guide and correct issues; support Open Door Policy.
